School-year dance classes, September to June
School-year dance classes in Virginia Beach, at our Lynnhaven and Boulevard studios.
Our Virginia Beach classes welcome families from Bayside and Thalia, with options for toddlers through teens. The full season runs about 36 to 39 weeks and includes both the Winter Showcase and the Spring Recital. Classes for the 2026/2027 season begin August 31, 2026, and registration is open now.

My First Dance Class
Movement, music and play that supports your child's development, with you close by.
Ages 3 to 6
Pre-School and Kinderdance
A variety of options designed to build confidence, creativity, coordination and a love of movement. Combo classes, boys only classes and single-style classes are all part of this program.
Grades 1 to 4
Level 1 and Level 2
Early elementary classes that introduce technique, musicality and performance skills across a variety of styles.
Grades 4 to 7
Level 3 Junior and Level 3 Advanced
Whether your dancer loves performing, technical training, storytelling or athletic movement, these classes support their goals and strengths.
Grades 7 and up
Teen Foundations, Level 4 Intermediate and Level 5 Advanced
College-educated faculty provide safe, knowledgeable training in a compassionate environment for dancers taking the next step.
New students
Every group welcomes beginners
New students are invited to try a class for free, or explore more with 30 days of unlimited classes for $50.

From picking a class to joining us
- Find your class. Choose your student's age or grade group in the class picker, then choose a day, dance style and studio location to see the variety of offerings that fit.
- Open Sawyer. Click "Book this free trial" on your chosen class to go directly to Sawyer, our official class registration system.
- Create a quick account. Add your child's name and birthday in Sawyer. We give away birthday cake pops every month!
- Register for your free trial. Complete your trial registration in Sawyer. You will receive an immediate confirmation, a reminder 24 hours before class and a day-of reminder.
- After class, make it official. Use the same class link to enroll in Sawyer and review the available payment options before completing registration. Your installment schedule depends on when you register and is shown in your Sawyer account. See registration and tuition.

These ranges overlap on purpose. If your dancer sits between two of them, pick either one and book the trial. The teacher confirms the right fit in class, and moving up or across afterwards is normal.

Lynnhaven and Boulevard do not run identical class programs, so check the schedule for your dancer's age and level before choosing a building.
