For adults who want to move, build confidence, relieve stress and have fun. Whether you are returning to dance after years away or stepping into a first class, you will find a community that celebrates movement, fitness and fun rather than perfection. Weekly classes, flex passes and monthly MIM After Dark nights are part of our adult program at the Lynnhaven and Boulevard studios in Virginia Beach.

MIM After Dark
A rotating themed dance night for adults who want to move, laugh and enjoy a night out. Each month brings a new theme and a new style to try.
- $20 per person, one Jazz Funk Fizz cocktail and one raffle ticket included

Free class for mothers
Pilates + Mama
A movement class for mothers at all stages, led by Lauren Kelly, a Certified Comprehensive Classical Pilates Instructor with prenatal and postpartum training.
- No Pilates experience necessary
- Babies and toddlers welcome
- Feeding breaks are expected and accommodated

Boulevard studio: 3750 Virginia Beach Blvd, Suite G, Virginia Beach, VA 23452. Welcoming adults from Pembroke, Kempsville, Thalia and Town Center.

Music in Motion is proud to host AMI Dance (Artistic Movements Initiative) at our Lynnhaven studio. AMI creates a space where adult dancers ages 16 and up can keep pursuing their passion, with classes and performance opportunities, without needing to make dance their profession.

- Intermediate Tap, 6 to 7 pm
- Beginner Ballet, 7 to 8 pm

- Intermediate Ballet, 9:15 to 10:45 am
- Intermediate Contemporary, 7:30 to 9 pm
Saturdays
- Intermediate Ballet, 1:30 to 3 pm
- Beginner/Intermediate Pointe, 3 to 4 pm
Sundays
- Intermediate Modern, 1:30 to 3 pm
