Music in Motion is one studio with two convenient Virginia Beach locations, just minutes apart. Join us for a dance class at our original Lynnhaven studio, or try a class at our Boulevard location at Birchwood, whichever fits your family best. Wherever you start, your dancer's schedule in Sawyer will always show exactly where each class meets.

Ages 6 months to 3 years
My First Dance Class
Movement, music and play for the youngest dancers, with a grown-up nearby.
Ages 3 to 6
Pre-School and Kinderdance
Confidence, creativity, coordination and a love of moving.
Grades 1 to 4
Level 1 and Level 2
Technique, musicality and performance skills across several styles.
Grades 4 to 7
Level 3 Junior and Level 3 Advanced
Performance, technical training, storytelling or athletic movement.
Grades 7 and up
Teen Foundations, Level 4 Intermediate, Level 5 Advanced
Training with college-educated faculty in a compassionate environment.
Adults, ages 18 and up
Adult Dance Classes
Beginner friendly and judgement free. Leave stress at the door.
