After you've chosen a class, you will use our registration software Sawyer to register or schedule your free trial.

You will be prompted to create an account if this is your first time logging into Sawyer. It should only take a few minutes!

Please contact the studio if you run into any trouble.

Jewelry, wristbands, and watches should be left at home. Dancers should bring their belongings in a dance bag and change their shoes at the studio.

We recommend purchasing everything your child needs for class conveniently through our online store. Ordered items will be delivered right to your home!

Hip Hop Classes: 

Clothing: Clothing should allow movement. No jeans allowed. Students can wear leotards, t-shirts, or tank tops on top. On the bottom, students can wear leggings, jazz pants, dance shorts, athletic shorts, or athletic pants.
Shoes: Dance sneakers or supportive clean tennis shoes (reserved for dance only)
Other: Knee pads are optional. Deodorant recommended for dancers 9+.

Breakdancing Classes: 

Clothing: Clothing should allow movement. No jeans allowed. Students can wear t-shirts or long sleeve shirts on top. On the bottom, students can wear any athletic pants.
Shoes: Dance sneakers or supportive clean tennis shoes (reserved for dance only)
Other: Knee pads and beanie required. Deodorant recommended for dancers 9+.

Boys enrolled in any other style class should contact the studio to inquire about the dress code requirements.

Youth Boys Hip Hop: ages 4-7
This fun, high-energy hip-hop dance class enables boys to be boys. Dancers develop musicality, creativity, listening skills, and coordination. This non-stop, action-packed class includes hip hop, basic break dancing, and dance games that will have your kid movin' to the beats! All music and moves are age-appropriate.

Boys Breakdancing: ages 7+
In this hip-hop/breakdancing class, boys will be learning the basics of rhythm, hip-hop history, and a variety of different movements based in breakdancing. Taught by Duo Crew members EJ and Dizon, the boys will gain confidence and cred with their new skills along with individualized attention. Optional end-of-year performance.

Boys Parkour and Hip-Hop: ages 7+
Our experienced acro instructor will guide the class towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline and concentration. This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic techniques, all to each student's individual level of experience. And it's fun, too! Hip Hop is an urban blend of music video & funky dance styles performed to Hip-Hop & Pop music. Students will learn the fundamentals & techniques of various styles including isolation, flexibility, rhythm & coordination.

All students will have the opportunity to perform on stage!

Our end-of-season recital in June is the highlight of the year.  Dancers showcase everything that they have learned for their proud and supportive friends and family.  Our dancers grow as performers!

In preparation for the recital, Music in Motion charges for costumes in November and a recital fee that includes performance services in March.

Our dance year runs from September to June.

During the summer months, and throughout the season, we offer shorter "mini-sessions" as well as camps so you can experience the joy of dance with a shorter commitment.

In addition to your tuition, families should expect an annual registration fee, a recital fee, and costume charges.

We DO offer sibling and multi-class discounts! Our registration fee is waived for active-duty military.
