Adult Hip-Hop Classes
A great class for adventurous beginners and experienced dancers alike. Are you looking to dance and groove in a welcoming community?
The class begins with a thorough warm-up focusing on strength, mobility, and rhythm. Then we dive into learning combinations and choreography from urban, street, and hip-hop styles. The class is a progressive class, meaning choreography will be added to each week. We recommend NOT doing a drop-in for this class, but it can be done.
Adult Contemporary / Lyrical Classes
Through contemporary lyrical dance, a dancer will be able to unleash their individuality and originality on the dance floor. Adults who take this class describe it as energetic and expressive. The beat of the music will get you moving with energy as you perform both isolated and full-body movements. Adults taking contemporary lyrical dance very often also take up our Adult Hip-Hop or Ballet class to improve their grace and balance or build up their rhythm and style— just a few learned skills which are great to have for Adult Contemporary Lyrical.
Pilates + Barre Classes
The perfect combination of lengthening & strengthening with the grace of a dancer and the power of Pilates. Enjoy a full-body workout with 30 minutes of Pilates mat-work followed by 30 minutes of Barre burning moves!
Adult Ballet
Tutus and Tights are not required! Adult Ballet is a perfect class for those who want to lengthen and strengthen, with grace. The class will begin at the barre and follow the traditional progression of exercises, some center exercises, such as pirouettes and petite allegro will be included. The focus of the class will be on proper technique and postural alignment, while inherently strengthening the body and increasing flexibility.
